Meet our team

Mittul Patel – Director iPS

Qualifications: Dipl DEA, MARLA, LLAS,
Beng Computer Systems Engineering.

Mittul started working in the property industry straight out of university as a lettings negotiator in London. He has held a variety of positions in the residential lettings sector over the last 10 years and has developed both practical experience and in-depth technical knowledge of Property Management legislation.

Having worked closely with a variety of landlords for many years, he has a flexible and pragmatic approach when dealing with the demands of tenants and the difficulties presented in the management process.

As a founding partner of iPS, Mittul is motivated to drive change in the industry. He believes the lettings business is full of bad practice and too much time is being wasted by agents on non value add tasks. Mittul has ensured iPS has a strong technology focus which allows greater automation and efficiency of administrative tasks allowing iPS to spend more time on active property management for our landlords.

“Most tenancy related issues can be avoided if you take the extra time to collate in-depth information about the property and tenants prior to commencement. If and when an issue does arise we are well positioned to deal with it effectively and efficiently. Attention to small details such as location of the water stopcock can save thousands of pounds. Most agents and landlords overlook this, we won’t. ”

Qualifications: BSc Design and has completed further study at the
prestigious Central Saint Martins Design College.

Sophie James is a talented interior designer having refined her skills at the world’s largest furniture retailer IKEA. She is now working on a freelance basis for bespoke projects in and around London.

Most of the rental properties in London are requested to be fully furnished by tenants. This can significantly add to a landlord’s cost base. Sophie James can advise our landlords on the most cost effective furnishings and furniture packages that will best market our properties.

“Properties can be different. A flat in Kensington will demand a unique finish with high-end designer furnishings whereas a house of professional sharers in Clapham will need quality yet harder wearing items to withstand heavy usage”.
